Banandalabra
Banana + Candelabra = Banadalabra. Need I say more? Well, I’ll elaborate anyways. Each of these banadalabras are hand blown and sculpted by me and feature an unscented hand carved soy wax candle. These bananas are different from my other peels because they are specifically bent into a tripod shape to hold the candle upright. Once the candle is melted down, you can add your own or we can send you another. You can also choose to display the peel without the candle!
The inspiration for this piece came from the trash sculptures that I made alongside Karen Wilenbrink-Johnson during our collaborative piece “modern nature”.
